The 1950's Dinner Dress

This original design can be made in the silk dupioni fabric of your choice.  It is a long or 3/4 length sleeved gown with a princess seamed bodice.  The full skirt can be gathered or pleated, it's up to you.  Likewise, you may get the tea length (as shown) or floor length.  Fully boned and lined.  Princess seams give a modest fit- never sack-like.  Corded neckline and waist for a couture finish.  All hems done by hand.  Closes with invisible zipper.  Original pattern based on 1950's clothing.

Princess Dress

Lovely basic dress for day wear or special occasions.  Can be tea length, as shown, or long, with 3/4 sleeves or short.  Can be embroidered in the center with your choice of thread color.

60's Jackie O Suit Dress

A-line, princess seamed, short sleeved below-knee dress.  Made from an authentic 60's pattern.  Simple and comfortable for dressy or casual occasions.  Goes with Jackie O suit jacket on tops page.

Gorgeous, flowing gown has kimono sleeves, a sweep train and beautiful details.  Genuine antique lace and hand cut beads frame the bodice insert, which can be covered with a layer of lace or embroidery.  Fully lined 1912 style.  Closes with an invisible zipper.  Hand finished.  One of a kind antique laces and trims.

Regency gowns

 

The authentic Regency:  floor length gown with puffed sleeves and button closures.  Can also be made with less-puffy 3/4 sleeves or long sleeves, for an earlier Regency look.  Fully lined or bodice lined, depending on your fabric choice.  Hand finished inner seams.  Trims, such as the lace and grosgrain ribbon shown, can be added at nominal cost.  Include measurements for bust, underbust, hips, arm width and length of skirt from underbust to floor.

The Modern Regency
